OUR STORY
It all began in 2006 with a thermos of hot tea and a few sandwiches. A small group of believing friends regularly visited the area around Warsaw Central Station to help those experiencing homelessness, pray for them, and share the Gospel.
Over time, this simple act of kindness grew into regular open-air services under the name Street Church. The first Street Church gathering in Poland took place on 1st September 2010 at Warsaw’s “Patelnia” square.
In the following years, the initiative expanded to other cities: Szczecin (2012), Poznań (2014), Gdańsk (2014), Białystok (2015), Ostrów Wielkopolski (2015), Kraków (2015), Opole (2015), Malbork (2016), Lublin (2016), Gorzów Wielkopolski (2017), Augustów (2017), and Kalisz (2018).
Today, Street Church meetings are held in numerous cities across Poland. In Warsaw alone, 17 churches and Christian communities are actively involved in organising these gatherings. Pastor Paweł Bukała serves as the main leader of Street Church, continuing to guide its mission with dedication and vision.
